Grading

Each of the eight lessons and two exams will be graded for accuracy. Partial credit may be awarded where appropriate, especially on the exams. The examinations are each worth 30 percent and the lesson assignments are worth 40 percent of your course grade (5% per lesson).

The grading scale will be as follows:

97 A-plus, 93 A, 90 A-minus; 87 B-plus, 83 B, 80 B-minus; 77 C-plus, 73 C, 70 C-minus; 67 D-plus, 63 D, 60 D-minus; 59 and below, F

Important: To be in compliance with the IU High School academic policies, your exam grades must average at least a D−minus in order for you to pass the course. Even if your assignment grades are excellent, you will not pass the course unless you fulfill this requirement.
